Over 17 thousand citizens banned from traveling abroad in Surkhandarya region
In one of the regions of Uzbekistan, 17.1 thousand people will not be able to leave Uzbekistan, since they have not paid millions for alimony or have not presented their real estate.

According to the media data, in the Surkhandarya region, 17,110 people cannot go to foreign countries, even in order to earn money, since they have a temporary restriction on leaving the republic for having arrears under executive documents.
91 people got the right to travel abroad because they paid millions of soums and their cases were closed.

Previously, it was reported that divorce is becoming profitable in Uzbekistan. All conditions are created for a divorced woman. The authorities are ready to force the husband to pay a multimillion dollar amount, transfer real estate under the name of the child.
Now citizens, who are subject alimony payment, can be restricted the right to drive a car. The driver’s license will be returned if he pays millions. The draft law “On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with improving the procedure for collecting alimony debts” was submitted for discussion.
