Uzbekistan plans to build two schools in Kyrgyzstan
Based on the relevant agreement, Uzbekistan plans to build two schools in the village of Samarkandek, Batken district, and in the village of Margun, Leylek district.

On October 25, the Committee on Social Issues, Education, Science, Culture and Health of the Jogorku Kenesh considered and approved the draft law “On approval of the report on the execution of the republican budget of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2020”.
The representative of the Cabinet of Ministers said that in 2020 the revenues of the republican budget amounted to 134,587.3 million soms, which is less by 13,898.3 million soms than in 2019. The expenditure side of the republican budget amounted to 154,450.6 million soms.
In addition, the committee considered a draft agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the government of Uzbekistan on the construction of secondary schools in the republic.
Based on the agreement, Uzbekistan plans to build two schools in the Samarkandek village of the Batken district and in the Margun village of the Leylek district.
The schools will be designed for 330 seats and will be transferred to the ownership of Kyrgyzstan. In this regard, plots will be allocated in the village of Margun (0.30 ha) and the village of Samarkandek (0.75 ha).
