FM Abdulaziz Kamilov attends ministerial meeting of Afghanistan's neighboring countries in Iran
A delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov is taking part in a meeting of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries, held in Tehran, the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.

The foreign ministers of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan and Iran will take part in the meeting in person, while the foreign ministers of Russia and China will send video messages.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will deliver a speech at the meeting. The UN Secretary-General will send a message to the participants.
If a consensus is reached, the ministers will issue a joint statement following the meeting. They will also discuss issues of providing humanitarian assistance to Afghans and the implementation of various projects in Afghanistan.
