Uzbekistan topped the list of popular foreign destinations for flights from Russia, Kommersant writes with reference to Tutu.ru.
The country accounted for 16.6% of all tickets sold for flights departing between October 30 and November 7. Second place with 14.1% is taken by Armenia, third – by Turkey 13.5%.
Kyrgyzstan (9.6%) and Azerbaijan (6.1%) also got into the TOP-5 list of foreign destinations for flights from Russia.
The demand for air travel increased by one and a half times after the announcement of the “non-working days” regime in Russia from October 29 to November 7, Tutu.ru says.
