President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the work process at the plant.

The cost of this first project is over $12 million. Annual production capacity is 25,000 units. The plant is a multi-brand, which assembles 10 types of KIA, Renault and Lada cars. To date, more than 2,000 cars have been delivered to the domestic market. These machines are popular among customers due to their high quality, modern design and comfort, economy, low cost of services, ease of operation. The cars have a five-year warranty. The company employs 250 specialists.

The President was provided information about the second phase of the project.

The project worth $216 million will develop small-scale production. That is, 314 types of components will be manufactured, welded, painted and assembled. Its launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.

As a result, the plant’s capacity will reach 100,000 units per year. Another 3,000 new jobs will be created. At this stage, localization will be increased to 30% and cars worth $150 million will be exported annually. The plant covers the areas of producing finished cars and components, design, logistics, personnel training.

Another important aspect is that this plant will lead to the formation of many small businesses, services. For example, 60 projects worth $500 million for the production of components and spare parts have already been formed in Jizzakh, Pakhtakor and Sharof Rashidov districts. In addition, an experimental design center will be established in the region, along with leading American and European engineering companies.

The President instructed to increase the level of localization, reduce the cost of cars and expand the choice of buyers.
