The Prosecutor General’s Office said that a murder committed 9 years ago in Kashkadarya region had been revealed. It was reported that on January 24, 2012, T.G., a resident of Korabuyin mahalla, Koson district (Kashkadarya region), left home in his Nexia 2 car and went missing.
Shortly afterwards, the Nexia 2 was found in the back of a high-rise building in the Madaniyat mahalla, Samarkand city. A criminal case under Article 97-1 of the Criminal Code was initiated by the Karshi district prosecutor’s office.
During a search of the Nexia 2 belonging to the missing G.T., a total of 14 fingerprints and palm prints were found from various parts of the vehicle.
It was noted that the crime was recently uncovered as a result of large-scale measures taken by the Kashkadarya regional prosecutor’s office in cooperation with the regional police department.
“The investigation revealed that M.O., T.A. and D.S. intentionally killed the missing G.T. and his body was buried in a reserve field located in the territory of Shurbozor mahalla, Chirakchi district. The Nexia 2 was left at the back of an apartment building in the Madaniyat mahalla, Samarkand city.
The crime committed by the three men was fully substantiated by their confessions, fingerprints found at the scene of the crime, investigation and confrontation of instructions at the scene, and a set of other evidence,” the PGO press service said.
Three people were charged under Article 97 of the Criminal Code and all of them were taken into custody. The Kashkadarya regional prosecutor’s office is currently investigating the case.
