At the twentieth plenary session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis, a report was heard from the Cabinet of Ministers on the implementation in the third quarter of the state program for the implementation of the actions strategy for the development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in five priority areas in the “Year of Supporting Youth and Strengthening Public Health”.
During the meeting, it became known that 28,600 unemployed citizens included in the “iron notebook”, “women’s notebook” and “youth notebook” received subsidies in the amount of 58 billion 900 million soums.
“The provision of state services has been established to reimburse part of the costs of training young people included in the “youth notebook” in non-state educational organizations in foreign languages and general subjects, as well as the cost of passing exams to obtain national certificates for them,” the report reads.
In addition, 9 trillion 800 billion soums were spent from the republican budget to finance the activities provided for in the programs “Obod qishloq” and “Obod mahalla”, and a loan of 301 billion soums was allocated to local budgets for this purpose.
“Thanks to the reforms carried out in the healthcare system, 82 family medical centers and 19 family polyclinics have been created,” the Senate concluded.
