This circumstance has been deeply studied by a special staff created under the State Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Development of Animal Husbandry, STV reports.

The samples obtained during the study were thoroughly tested in the laboratories of the Republican State Scientific Center for the Diagnosis of Animal Diseases and Food Safety, and no pathogens were found in them.

“To prevent the penetration of anthrax into our country, the territorial state veterinary service, in accordance with the schedule, systematically, by a group method, is carrying out preventive work on vaccination of farm animals susceptible to morbidity,” the report reads.

In 2020, preventive vaccination against anthrax was carried out on a total of 36.7 million heads of livestock, in 2021 – only 26.4 million heads.

Prophylactic vaccination of more than 10 million heads of cattle has been carried out, which by the end of the year the immunity activity ends. That is, full immune activity has been provided. The State Veterinary Service has 6.4 million doses of the vaccine.

Over the past period of this year, 3,021 samples of soil from old foci and skin of 84.1 thousand heads of cattle and sheep were checked, in which no traces of the disease were found.
