Population of Uzbekistan exceeds 35 million
The permanent population of Uzbekistan has increased by 2% and exceeded 35 million, the State Statistics Committee reported.

According to the committee, as of October 1, 2021, the permanent population of the republic was 35 million 79.2 thousand people, more by 2% compared to the same period last year.
Since the beginning of the year, the permanent population has been growing by an average of 1.5 thousand people per.
Reportedly, the population of the country increased by 13.9 million people over the past 30 years.
