According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 167,858 (+590).

Reportedly, 228 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 33 – in Karakalpakstan, 14 – in Andijan, 10 – in Bukhara, 17 – in Jizzakh, 4 – in Kashkadarya, 5 – in Navoi, 11 – in Namangan, 51 – in Samarkand, 11 – in Syrdarya, 19 – in Surkhandarya, 55 – in Fergana, 20 – in Khorezm and 112 – in Tashkent region.

5 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,184.

As of September 17, the number of recovered stands at 161,275 (+854).

Also, 112 people tested positive for pneumonia on Friday, bringing the total number of cases to 26,068. According to the Ministry of Health, 539 of them recovered yesterday (21,836 in total).

2 pneumonia patients died on September 17, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 213.
