Statistics Committee provides data on volume of transported goods on railway transport

70.6 million tons of goods were transported on trains in 2020, the State Statistics Committee said in a report.
Annual turnover totaled 23.5 billion soums, which is 7 percent more compared to the same period of 2019.
The volume of transported goods on trains in the last 5 years:
In 2016 – 67.6 million tons
In 2017 – 67.9 million tons
In 2018 – 68.4 million tons
In 2019 – 70.1 million tons
In 2020 – 70.6 million tons
In January-June 2021 – 35.2 million tons
