Taliban spokesman sends congratulatory message to Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry
On September 1, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan sent a congratulatory message to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, Zabihullah Mujahid congratulated Uzbekistan on Independence Day.
“We congratulate the government and people of neighboring Uzbekistan on the 30th anniversary of independence and express our most sincere wishes. We ask Almighty Allah to protect the honor and high dignity of the people and government of Uzbekistan,” the message says.
It is emphasized that the peoples of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan are united not only by good-neighborliness, but also by the commonality of religious, cultural and spiritual values, which contribute to an even greater rapprochement of the sides.
“We express our hope for the continuation of the mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan in conditions of peace and tranquility, as well as in the spirit of friendship and good-neighborly relations,” the Taliban representative concluded.
Earlier it was reported that a member of the negotiating group of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and spokesman for the political office of the Taliban Mohammad Suheil Shahin on behalf of his leadership also sent a congratulatory message to the Foreign Ministry on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the country's independence.
