Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosts IsDB Chairman
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the head of the Islamic Development Bank Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser, who is in Tashkent to participate in the 46th annual meeting of the IsDB Board of Governors.

The parties exchanged views on the further development of bilateral cooperation.
During the negotiations, it was noted that the portfolio of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the IDB includes 30 projects worth over $2.5 billion. It covers the areas of transport, housing and communal infrastructure, energy, agriculture and water management, healthcare, education and entrepreneurship.
The sides also noted the importance of implementing a new cooperation program for the next five years and launching a representative office of the bank in Tashkent.
They agreed to continue close interaction and maintain active contacts for the development of strategic partnership and full-scale cooperation between Uzbekistan and the IDB.
