At present, an open dialogue between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and entrepreneurs has begun at the Palace of International Forums.

According to a Kun.uz correspondent, about 500 entrepreneurs are directly involved in the event, and more than 10 thousand entrepreneurs in the regions follow it.

During the conversation, measures to eliminate systemic problems will be discussed and proposals from entrepreneurs will be heard. At the beginning of the event, it was noted that such an event is being held for the first time.

In preparation for an open dialogue with the President, the deadline for accepting applications was repeatedly extended, which was explained by their large number. According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, 15,309 applications have been received to date, of which more than 12,000 issues have been resolved.

“It is good that the problems of entrepreneurs have been resolved, but this should not be temporary. When I was a khokim, Prime Minister, I knew what problems are plaguing entrepreneurs. I have a strong desire to find a solution.

Why does the president have time for these problems, while the khokim does not have time to deal with them? If we want to please our people, we must help entrepreneurs, make the necessary changes to the legislation.

We still have to admit that too many of our laws are inappropriate for entrepreneurs. But let me tell you – we will definitely resolve these issues together.

Of course, not all problems can be solved in one day. The important thing is that we are trying to solve them.

It was not easy to get GSP+ preferences from the EU that could not be obtained during the past 25 years. I wish that a bridge of sincere communication would appear between us and you.

Local leaders should only serve the people. Because with the official powers given to me by the people, I have authorized them,” the head of state said.
