In February 2021, Deputy Transport Minister Jasurbek Choriyev and Airbus International’s Vice President for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Jacques Garrig reached an agreement on the purchase of four helicopters manufactured by Airbus Helicopters.

It turned out that the first of these helicopters arrived in Uzbekistan on June 4, the second – on June 12, and the registration process has been completed to date.

The helicopters are in the H-125 model, and the other two H-130 helicopters, which are scheduled to arrive in October, will be slightly larger.

On July 31, the presentation of the helicopters took place. This indicates the opening of a new route of civil aviation in Uzbekistan. The presentation was also attended by Deputy PM Aziz Abdukhakimov.
