Number of traffic violations in Uzbekistan increase by half in six months

In 6 months of 2021, a total of about 3.5 million traffic violations have been recorded in Uzbekistan, which is 40.8% more than in 2020, the Senate reports.
As a result, 3,170 citizens were injured and 954 people died in 3,754 traffic accidents caused by the traffic rule violators.
“Unfortunately, 542 accidents involved children: 458 minors were injured and 104 died,” the report says.
