Uzbekistan’s permanent population up by over 300 thousand in Jan-July

The permanent population of Uzbekistan has increased by 301.3 thousand people since the beginning of the year.
According to the State Statistics Committee, as of July 1, 2021, the permanent population of the republic is 34.9 million people.
Reportedly, the growth rate compared to the previous year is 101.9%.
From the beginning of the year, the population of the country has increased by an average of 50.2 thousand people per month.
Every day, the permanent population is growing by an average of 1.7 thousand people.
