Uzbekistan, USA, Afghanistan and Pakistan to create a new platform for consultations

On July 15, within the framework of meetings in Tashkent, representatives of Uzbekistan, the United States, Afghanistan and Pakistan decided to create a new quadripartite platform for consultations.
“Representatives of Uzbekistan, the United States, Afghanistan and Pakistan have agreed to establish a new quadripartite diplomatic platform aimed at enhancing regional connectivity. The parties believe that long-term peace and stability in Afghanistan is crucial for regional interconnectedness,” the text of the document says.
