Uzbekistan prepares to issue Eurobonds in dollars and soums
The details of the procedure will be announced after negotiations with investors. Organizers are Citi, Gazprombank, J.P. Morgan и MUFG.

Uzbekistan intends to place Eurobonds denominated in dollars and soums, RIA Novosti reports.
The details of the procedure will be announced today after negotiations with investors. The offering of new ten-year dollar securities and Eurobonds with tenor of three or five years will depend on market conditions.
Securities offering will be organized by Citi, Gazprombank, J.P. Morgan и MUFG.
For the first time, Uzbekistan issued with tenor of five and ten years and a total volume of $1 billion with a yield of 4.75% and 5.375% per annum, respectively, in February 2020. Then the demand for Eurobonds exceeded $8.5 billion.
In November 2020, Uzbekistan issued two tranches of Eurobonds denominated in dollars and soums, with a total volume of $750 million.
Most of the securities went to investors from the United States and Europe.
This will be the first time Uzbek Eurobonds are offered in national currency of Central Asian country.
