Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan sign a protocol on location of junction point of state borders

During negotiations in Fergana, the government delegations of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan signed a protocol on the location of the junction of state borders.
The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported about it.
“During the negotiations, the parties exchanged proposals on the location of the junction point of the state borders of the three countries. As a result of the event, a corresponding protocol was signed,” the report says.
The next meeting of government delegations will be held in Kyrgyzstan.
It should be recalled that in March this year, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan discussed the delimitation of the remaining sections of the border.
During the state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the heads of the two countries agreed to intensify the work of government delegations.
In early May, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan began conversation on delimitation and demarcation of the state border.
