More than a hundred women leaders and entrepreneurs from five Central Asian countries and Afghanistan gathered for an international online business forum on June 15.

At the conference, the issues of developing women’s entrepreneurship, strengthening cooperation between women entrepreneurs in six countries were discussed.

The forum center was established in Westminster International University in Tashkent. In particular, a member of the Republican Gender Commission Saida Mirziyoyeva also delivered a speech.

“Dear ladies, you have been able to prove how to succeed in through your skills leading by example. You are changing your life for the better, thinking about a bright future. Most importantly, you believe that you are responsible for the development of the country. You will not be afraid of obstacles in the way of life. That’s how real women should be. We all realize that we are a force.

Our unique goal is to make people happy and prosperous. Many important issues will be discussed in today’s meeting. These are such issues as economic support for women, development of regional cooperation, trade promotion, social protection, education of children.

The biggest goal here is to share experiences, learn new knowledge and help each other.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is well aware of the problems that plague women in society and supports them accordingly. As soon as he took office, the head of state set the main goal of ensuring gender equality in society. Today, very important issues are being considered, including ensuring equal employment of women, guaranteeing the right to education. In general, women’s education is the key to a bright future.

I have not seen any industry develop without the participation of women. Leading women in their specialty can create an important foundation for the well-being of their children and the protection of their rights. And where children’s rights are guaranteed, there is hope for the future. We are ready to fight for equal rights and opportunities. Most importantly, there is no way back. Our children, the whole country and the whole humanity are supporting us,” Saida Mirziyoyeva said.

It was noted at the event that this forum is the most important event within the framework of the dialogue of leading women of Central Asia.

The forum participants will adopt a roadmap for comprehensive cooperation between Central Asian women. The project documents will be agreed with the leaders of the participating countries and will be adopted taking into account the proposals made at the forum.
