The Ministry of Health reported that more than 200 new cases were identified in Uzbekistan in the past day, less than 200 people recovered and one patient died. The number of patients being treated exceeded 3,300.
“On June 9, 2021, the number of registered coronavirus infection cases in Uzbekistan is 102,605 (+243),” the Ministry of Health said.

In recent days, the number of daily cases has not exceeded 200.

Reportedly, 108 new cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 2 – in Karakalpakstan, 6 – in Andijan, 7 – in Bukhara, 27 – in Kashkadarya, 1 – in Navoi, 4 – in Namangan, 25 – in Samarkand, 4 – in Syrdarya, 7 – in Surkhandarya, 13 – in Fergana, 6 – in Khorezm and 33 – in Tashkent region.

The number of recovered stands at 98,592 (+191) and the recovery rate – at 96%.

Also, 1 patient died yesterday, the death toll stands at 702. 

Currently, 3,311 patients are being treated in hospitals.
