Uzbekistan and Tajikistan discuss demarcation of state border
From May 17 to 22, government delegations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan held the meeting of the Joint Demarcation Commission in the city of Khujand.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed demarcation of the state border, exchanged views on the establishment of border marks on the line.
The sides agreed to continue field demarcation work on the Uzbek-Tajik State Border.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
Following the talks, the parties signed a Protocol.
