Uzbekistan has received another 500 thousand doses of the Sino-Uzbek vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC 2001.
On Tuesday, May 18, China sent 1 million doses of the vaccine.
It was developed by the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and manufactured by the pharmaceutical company Anhui Zhifei Longcom Biopharmaceutical Co. Ltd. Its clinical trials were carried out in collaboration with Uzbek scientists.
From April 1 to May 18, 1,412,312 doses of the vaccine were used. According to the Ministry of Health, 1,125,995 people were vaccinated at the first stage, and 286,317 – at the second stage.
