On May 6, 421 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of patients to 93,597.
“239 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 6 – in Karakalpakstan, 6 – in Andijan, 7 – in Bukhara, 6 – in Jizzakh, 3 – in Kashkadarya, 4 – in Navoi, 5 – in Namangan, 54 – in Samarkand, 2 – in Syrdarya, 4 – in Surkhandarya, 5 – in Fergana, 3 – in Khorezm and 77 – in Tashkent region,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
Reportedly, three patients died yesterday. The official death toll has reached 660.
“89,338 people have recovered from the disease in the country so far,” the ministry said.
Currently, 3,599 patients are being treated in hospitals.
