New khokim appointed for Bukhara city

Jamol Nosirov has been appointed khokim of Bukhara city.
Today, May 5, an extraordinary session of the Bukhara city administration was held. The meeting was attended by the khokim of the region Botir Zaripov and other officials.
Organizational issues were considered at the council meeting and Jamol Nosirov was appointed khokim of the city.
Nosirov was born on June 12, 1985, in the city of Bukhara. In 2005, he graduated from the Bukhara State University.
Previously, he served as chairman of the Bukhara Regional Council of the “Kamolot” Youth Movement. Later, he was elected a deputy to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis.
Prior to his appointment, Jamol Nosirov had been serving as the First Deputy Minister of Culture since April 22, 2020.
