Incidence of COVID-19 in Uzbekistan becomes more common among young people

In Uzbekistan, the incidence of coronavirus among citizens aged 20 to 45 has almost doubled, Doniyor Mirazimov, head of the Zangiota Infectious Diseases Hospital No. 2, says.
“Coronavirus rate is continuing to rise. The number of infected among people aged 20-45 has almost doubled. One of the main reasons for the increase in infection cases is non-compliance with sanitary and epidemiological rules,” he said.
Mirazimov stressed that people practically stopped wearing masks in markets and public places.
“Our biggest hope for ending the pandemic is vaccination. Its second stage began on May 1,” the doctor concluded.
