The company noted that gasoline and diesel fuel produced by the Bukhara Oil Refinery are supplied in accordance with current state standards. Petrol stations also sell gasoline and diesel fuel imported into the republic by entrepreneurs from foreign countries.

Uzbekneftegaz said they have recently received complaints from drivers about low-quality gasoline and diesel fuel sold at stations. For this reason, samples of gasoline and diesel fuel sold at private filling stations and oil depots of Syrdarya, Samarkand and Jizzakh regions were taken in accordance with the requirements of existing regulatory documents in March-April.

The obtained samples were analyzed in the accredited chemical control laboratory of the Bukhara Oil Refinery. According to the results of the analysis, it was established that the quality indicators of gasoline and diesel fuel sold at filling stations differ from those established by the current regulatory documents, that is, quality indicators do not meet the requirements.

“Uzbekneftegaz JSC informed responsible organizations and consumers about the identified low-quality products of gasoline and diesel fuel. Such products are imported from abroad,” the company said.

The low-quality gasoline increases the negative impact on the vehicle and equipment, as well as on the environment, the company added.
