During the event, he informed that currently preparations are underway for President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to Russia and South Korea.
“As you know, Tashkent recently hosted the INNOPROM industrial week for the first time. The exhibition demonstrated the great interest of Russian entrepreneurs in the products of our enterprises,” Sherzod Asadov said.
The meeting showed that the exhibition will become a reliable platform for launching new cooperation projects. An important role in their implementation will be played by a project office organized by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
It was also emphasized that, depending on the epidemiological situation, there are plans to organize an official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Russia, for which both sides are preparing carefully.
“The meeting with the Korean delegation headed by the Speaker of the National Assembly Park Byeong-seug reaffirmed the commitment of our countries to strengthening multifaceted and mutually beneficial cooperation. The head of our state thanked the Korean people for their help in the fight against coronavirus,” said the head of the press service.
It is noted that full support was expressed for Seoul’s new northern policy and its efforts to establish lasting peace on the Korean peninsula.
“Our country is interested in studying the effective work of the Korean parliament, primarily in the development of regions and villages, the fight against poverty, industrialization and digitalization. In addition, Uzbekistan will fully support Korean business. We can say that the visit of the representative parliamentary delegation of South Korea was one of the stages of preparation for the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to this country,” concluded Sherzod Asadov.
