Uzbekistan, Sweden set to strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties, promote bilateral trade

On April 8, 2021, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Farhod Arziyev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Uzbekistan with residence in Stockholm Ingrid Tersman and OSCE Project Coordinator in Tashkent John MacGregor.
During the meeting, topical issues of Uzbek-Swedish cooperation were discussed.
The sides noted with satisfaction the current high level of interaction between Uzbekistan and the OSCE, the implementation of joint projects that meet the priorities and national interests of the country.
The parties also considered the issues of developing interaction between the parliaments of Uzbekistan and Sweden, building up bilateral trade, implementing investment projects, strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
