Road accidents killed 1,962 people in Uzbekistan last year – Interior Minister
Last year, 1,962 people died in road accidents in Uzbekistan.

On March 12, the Minister of Internal Affairs Pulat Bobojonov delivered a speech at the regular session of the Senate.
According to Bobojonov, the total number of traffic accidents in the country decreased compared to the previous year.
However, 1,962 people became victims of road accidents in 2020.
At the meeting, the Senators also underlined the need for the development of a zero-tolerance attitude against crime among the population, the protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens.
