Turkey’s new Ambassador to Uzbekistan hands over his credentials to FM Abdulaziz Kamilov

On March 5, 2021, the Foreign Affairs Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey, Olgan Bekar.
Accepting copies of his credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in strengthening the multifaceted and mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey, the MFA press service said.
The parties exchanged views on the organization of the upcoming visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu to Uzbekistan.
The sides also discussed topical issues of bilateral relations with an emphasis on the development of trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian ties.
