Uzbekistan intends to use Sputnik V and ZF-UZ-VAC 2001 vaccines for mass vaccination against COVID-19

“Two vaccines are being considered now for mass vaccination – Sputnik V and ZF-UZ-VAC 2001,” First Deputy Minister of Innovative Development, Director of the Center for Advanced Technologies Shakhlo Turdikulova said.
She noted that the Ministry of Health will develop and approve a corresponding plan.
“First, the risk groups will receive the vaccine – the elderly, employees of medical and educational institutions, and then the rest of the citizens,” the expert concluded.
Previously it was reported that the Chinese-Uzbek vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC 2001 against coronavirus was six times more effective against the British and South African strains than the American vaccine Moderna.
