Uzbekistan to start producing shoes under Nike and Adidas brands
In early 2019, an agreement was reached between Tianjin Zhongzhilihua, a Chinese manufacturer of sneakers under Nike and Adidas brands, and SinoInternational LLC. A plant, which will produce products under these brands, will be established in Andijan region.

The production facility will start its work in the IV quarter of 2021 and operate at a full capacity in the III quarter of 2022. The plant is expected to produce a total of 3 million pairs of sports shoes a year, the Uzcharmsanoat Association told Kun.uz.
According to the agreement between Tianjin Zhongzhilihua and SinoInternational LLC, it is planned to export 50% of finished products to Central Asian countries.
Once the coronavirus pandemic in China is completely eradicated, the remaining equipment will be imported.
It is reported that SinoInternational LLC has been allocated 1 hectare of land in Asaka district, Andijan region, and at present, buildings on 1,000 square meters have been built. Necessary equipment is brought and installed.
According to the Uzcharmsanoat Association, currently, 40,000 pairs of children’s and teenagers’ sneakers are being produced per month as a test. Unemployed men and women living in the district have been attracted to work.
The cost of the project is around $12 million. Currently, the foreign investor has invested $6 million.
