Korea removes Uzbekistan from the list of epidemiologically dangerous countries
Taking into account the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, the Republic of Korea has excluded Uzbekistan from the list of “red” (dangerous) zones.
The External Labor Migration Agency reports that they are negotiating with the relevant authorities of South Korea to agree on an organized procedure for sending people with non-expired visa confirmations to Korea during the pandemic.
The exact date of the departure of citizens is not yet announced, but those willing to travel to Korea are encouraged to prepare documents, such as contracts and visa confirmations, to be submitted to the agency.
If there is news on the organized sending of citizens, the agency will report it through the official information channels.
“Citizens who do not have a passport to travel abroad need to obtain it urgently,” the agency says.
