Warehouse officials embezzle 300 tons of coal in Fergana
In Fergana, warehouse officials looted 300 tons of coal worth 83 million soums, Kun.uz correspondent reports with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

During an inventory of the Baghdad coal depot of the Fergana regional branch of “Kumir ta’minot” LLC, it was found that the responsible persons of the warehouse embezzled 300 tons of coal worth 83 million soums.
A criminal case has been initiated against the warehouse officials under Article 167-2 of the Criminal Code. The investigation is conducted by the Baghdad district branch of the Department.
Three days ago, it was also reported that 807 million soums worth of coal had been looted in a warehouse in the Oltiariq district, Fergana region.
In December, a draft government resolution on the development of the coal industry in the Fergana district of the region was announced.
