Foreign Ministry issues additional information about citizens stuck at Vnukovo Airport due to flight cancelation
On January 7-8, as the flight from Moscow to Samarkand was canceled, citizens of Uzbekistan were stuck at the Vnukovo Airport.

As the MFA press service informed, with the assistance of charitable organizations, compatriots who were at the Vnukovo Airport were provided with hot meals and hygiene products.
“Thanks to the efforts of the Uzbek Embassy in Moscow, all passengers of the canceled flight (180 people) were sent to Uzbekistan at 00:05 on January 9,” the MFA press service said.
Earlier, social network users circulated a video showing the situation at the airport.

“The situation at the Vnukovo Airport: tickets for the Moscow-Samarkand flight have been sold to more than 280 passengers, but there is neither flight nor refund,” one of the people said.
