Deadline for replacing driving license of old sample with a new one extended until 2021 end
The deadline for replacing a driver’s license of the old sample with a new one has been extended until the end of 2021. Drivers do not have to retake the exam, the Agency for Public Services said.

Recently, false information began to spread among the public that in 2021, when changing driver’s licenses, it would be necessary to retake the exam.
“For the convenience of the population, the deadline for replacing the driving license old sample with a new one has been extended until December 31, 2021. At the same time, in the Centers of Public Services, this service, like all others, is provided in a simplified manner. That is, no extra exam will be conducted,” the report says.
One just needs to present his passport, old driver’s license and a reference at the time of using the service. It is also necessary to pay a state duty in the amount of 70% (currently 156,100 soums) of the BCA.
