FM Abdulaziz Kamilov receives credentials of Czech Ambassador
On December 14, Foreign Affairs Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic Václav Jílek.

As the press service of the Foreign Ministry said, accepting copies of his credentials, the minister congratulated the ambassador on his appointment to a high and responsible post and wished him successful work.
“The parties discussed topical issues of the development of Uzbek-Czech cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, educational, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, as well as interaction within international and regional organizations,” the statement says.
In addition, the sides considered practical aspects of upcoming bilateral contacts at various levels, including the holding of the next round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
“The parties confirmed their mutual interest in enhancing economic diplomacy between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic, attracting direct Czech investments and technologies in the implementation of projects in the sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan. Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed within the framework of the talks,” the Foreign Ministry concluded.
