Uzbekistan becomes observer state in EAEU
Uzbekistan has officially become an observer state in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
A relevant decision has been adopted today during a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of the heads of EAEU member states. The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is also attending the Summit.
Along with Uzbekistan, Cuba has also been granted the observer status in the Union.
It should be recalled that in May this year, the chambers of Oliy Majlis approved the proposal on Uzbekistan's accession to the organization as an observer state.
