Shavkat Mirziyoyev to hold talks with Narendra Modi
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold talks with the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in a videoconference format on December 11.

The summit agenda includes topical issues related to further strengthening the Uzbek-Indian relations of friendship and strategic partnership, enhancing the multifaceted cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, the presidential press service says.
The parties are expected to focus on consolidating close interaction for overcoming the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
The sides also intend to discuss priority programs and projects aimed at boosting the bilateral trade, developing transport links, strengthening cooperation in agriculture, energy, information and communication technologies, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and other industries, as well as at bolstering the contacts among regions of the two countries.
Mirziyoyev and Modi are expected to exchange views on steps to effectively address contemporary challenges and threats.
The talks are anticipated to result in a joint statement as well as a number of intergovernmental and interagency agreements covering economy and innovation, financial and technical assistance, customs and technical regulation of trade, training and joint scientific research.
