Tashkent may restrict entry of trucks to the city during rush hours
Tashkent authorities plan to restrict the entry of trucks to the city during peak hours.
The deputy of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis Rasul Kusherbayev reported about it.
“In order to prevent traffic jams, the city council of people’s deputies proposed to make a decision to restrict the entry of trucks into Tashkent from 07:00 to 10:00 in the morning and from 17:00 to 20:00 in the evening,” the MP said.
It is expected that the above issue will be considered by deputies of the Tashkent city council in the near future.
“We hope that if deputies make such a decision, the number of traffic jams in the capital will decrease,” Kusherbayev concluded.
