Mirziyoyev, Tokayev agree to provide economic and humanitarian assistance to Kyrgyzstan
The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev agreed to provide economic and humanitarian assistance to Kyrgyzstan, Akorda reports.

This issue was discussed today, November 12, during a telephone conversation between the leaders of the two countries.
“In the course of discussing the situation in Central Asia, the heads of state reached an agreement on joint efforts to ensure stability and security in the region. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will provide economic and humanitarian assistance to the Kyrgyz people,” the statement reads.
The importance of further promotion of economic cooperation projects in priority sectors between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan was noted.
The schedule of upcoming events at the highest level was also considered.
