Samarkand State Medical Institute, Cambridge University sign a memorandum
Samarkand State Medical Institute is one of the leading universities in the country that trains medical personnel. In order to make better use of the rich experience created at the institute, a number of joint projects with foreign partners are currently being implemented. Within the framework of these projects, students from a number of foreign countries are expected to study at the institute. Together with foreign professors and instructors, the teachers of the institute teach them in foreign languages.

The Samarkand State Medical Institute signed a memorandum with the University of Cambridge (the UK) in order to improve the knowledge and skills of professors and teachers of the institution in foreign languages and the use of resources.
It should be noted that Cambridge is the oldest university in the United Kingdom, founded in 1209. More than 90 graduates and teachers of the university were awarded the Nobel Prize.
It is gratifying that the team of Samarkand State Medical Institute will continue to actively cooperate with this prestigious university. They will be able to make effective use of their best practices.
According to the memorandum, the University of Cambridge will provide assistance in improving the knowledge and skills of professors and teachers of English at the Samarkand State Medical Institute. It provides teachers and students with relevant literature and methodological assistance in conducting medical education in English. The signed memorandum will further enrich the human resources and potential of the institute.
