Uzbekistan introduces automated system for monitoring supply of liquefied gas to the population
Since October 15, 2020, JSC Khudugaztaminot has introduced an automated system of control over the liquefied gas supply. Now, each cylinder will get a sticker with a special bar code to monitor its transmission to each consumer.

The system is implemented as follows:
Phase I – household gas cylinders will receive stickers with a special bar code
Phase II – each user will be issued an identification card
Phase III – users will be connected to the “E-gas” online system
All the information will be on the identification card. This will, inter alia, eliminate excessive pricing and other offenses. For example, if the system has a 45-day delivery interval for gas cylinders, the card will be drawn only once every 45 days. So it is impossible to get a gas cylinder again in that time frame.
The automated system guarantees the timely charge of a fixed payment. Thus, cash payment for the gas cylinder to the driver or other technical staff is avoided. This, in turn, will further improve the quality of services and eliminate corruption in the supply of liquefied gas to consumers.
