Yodgor Sadiyev appointed director of the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theater

It is noted that a meeting with the theater team is currently underway. The Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov has announced Sadiyev’s appointment as the director of the theater.

Yodgor Sadiev was born on June 12, 1946, in the city of Tashkent. In 1971, he graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Theater and Arts named after Ostrovsky. He has been working at the current theater since 1968. 

It should be recalled that at the end of August this year, the director of the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theater, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Fathulla Masudov died at the age of 57. Reportedly, he suffered from a severe form of coronavirus.
