The following 15 countries have been elected to the UN Human Rights Council for a three-year term starting on January 1, 2021: Bolivia, China, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Cuba, France, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Senegal, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Great Britain.
The Human Rights Council, a body of the UN General Assembly, has 47 member states. Board members are elected by secret ballot for a three-year term.
