New prosecutor of Namangan region appointed
Jakhongir Khotamov has been appointed prosecutor of the Namangan region, the regional administration reported.
Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev and khokim of the Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazzakov took part in the meeting, held at the Namangan regional administration.
Jakhongir Khotamov was the first deputy prosecutor of the Jizzakh region in 2016-2017 and the first deputy prosecutor of Tashkent in 2017-2018.
He has been working as the prosecutor of the Khorezm region since February 2018.
Earlier, it was reported that the regional prosecutor of Namangan Akmalkhuja Mavlonov had been appointed Deputy Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan by the relevant presidential decree.
