Central Asian International Institute established in Uzbekistan
The institute thoroughly studies the foreign policy concepts of neighboring countries on the basis of analytical approaches.

In 2017, the President of Uzbekistan proposed a number of important initiatives, including the organization of the first Summit of Central Asian Leaders at the UN General Assembly. The second meeting of the summit was held in Tashkent and became a historic event in further strengthening the mutually beneficial cooperation and solidarity in the region.
According to Kun.uz source in the government, in order to fully implement all the agreements reached at the second summit of the consultation meeting, to expand contacts between experts and practitioners, to ensure their participation in the development of regional strategy, the Central Asian International Institute has been established in accordance with the special presidential decree signed last month.
The main tasks of the Institute are, first of all, to assist in the development of new directions of strategies and programs aimed at the comprehensive expansion of cooperation between the countries of the region, their in-depth analysis and research on a scientific basis.
The Institute conducts research to further strengthen ties between the countries of the region, as well as systematic research to address threats and problems related to security in Central Asia.
It thoroughly studies the foreign policy concepts of neighboring countries on the basis of analytical approaches, analyzes in detail various projects of regional significance and discusses them in the following regional international scientific conferences and events.
