“We will ensure that the exams are held transparently and fairly” – Director of the State Testing Center
At the International Press Club session on the issues of admission to higher education institutions, Majid Karimov, Director of the State Testing Center (STC), advised applicants not to be excited or afraid on the day of the test. He stressed that the exam will be held fairly and transparently.
“Applicants have tried mock tests at least once or twice or are familiar with it. The exam will have questions similar to these tests. So there is no need to worry much.
We will ensure that the exams are held transparently and fairly. In this process, the system is very well organized, everything is under very strict control,” Majid Karimov said.
The head of the STC addressed to applicants directly.
“In the exam, you are only required to answer correctly. Take your time and try to answer the questions. You will earn the final score depending on the number of correct answers, we will ensure transparency. You just have to take the test and demonstrate your knowledge,” Majid Karimov said.
He also noted that if the admission exams end on September 16-17, the entrant will be able to know the final result (whether or not he is admitted) a week later, on September 20-22.
Applicants, who have been diagnosed with high body temperature and not been admitted to the exam, will take a separate exam 4 days after the end of the test. They will also be able to know the final result on September 20-22.
“The contingent of such applicants will not be large. We can publish their results in one day and add them to the others,” the head of the State Testing Center said.
